It’s not subject to algorithms.
It’s not what is or is not trending right now.
How to build an email list
Start with your friends, family, and peers.
Literally ask their permission.
Create a welcome email with all your links.
Then you can scale by creating an offer.
Then link that offer as a call-to-action in your content output, like the music videos you put on YouTube.
When you’ve built yourself a list, you can get real nerdy with automaton.
You can set up an automated welcome message which gets delivered to them on subscribing.
You can set it up so they get subsequent emails in the following days or weeks.
These can include more content and stories with links to buy your music and products.
Then you can schedule emails for the future.
Now you have a funnel.
Now you have a business.
Now it’s just a matter of feeding it.
